Build real-time features using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events — live dashboards, chat systems, notifications, and collaborative tools.
Serverless Functions
Develop serverless backends using AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or similar — event-driven compute that scales automatically and reduces operational burden.
Frontend Integration
Build backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers and SSR services that power React, Next.js, and other frontend frameworks used by enterprise teams.
Microservices
Design and implement Node.js microservices — service communication, event-driven patterns, and containerised deployments in enterprise environments.
What We Look For

- Strong Node.js experience with TypeScript — comfortable building production-grade backend services
- Framework proficiency — Express, Fastify, NestJS, or similar server-side frameworks
- Database design and integration experience — PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or similar
- Testing practices — unit, integration, and API testing with Jest, Mocha, or similar
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka) and asynchronous processing patterns
- Bonus: experience working with DACH enterprise clients or in staff augmentation settings
